Come Worship With Us!
St. Matthew's began its first live-streaming service on Sunday, May 17, 2020, and we continue to provide that means of attending services. Here is the link to our Facebook page.

Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2021
There will be an indoor service beginning at 4:30pm. Because Valencia county has turned “yellow” we are allowed to go back to Phase II for holding church services. That means that we can now allow up to 33% of our congregation back into the building, which for us means 41 people (including the priest, the pianist, video staff and altar guild).
Ashes will be dispensed, as will the Eucharist. Wafer and wine will be distributed in individually wrapped mini-cups. The wrapped cups will be blessed at the Altar and Fr. Robert will distribute them after they are blessed. You must hold on to the wrapper and cup and either take it home with you, or deposit it in the trash can that will be available by the door as you exit the building.
All of the current safety guidelines must still be adhered to including:
We want to keep Valencia county in the “yellow” and if we all adhere to the guidelines, hopefully (with God’s help) we will soon be in the “green.”
You know that not all of our congregants have email, so if you can, please reach out to those whom you know that don’t by phone, to let them know about the Good News!
We understand that there may be different opinions as to whether we should or should not be open. St. Matthew's is following the guidance of our Bishop, CATO, and legal council, as well as the Governor's office.

We will get the Sunday Bulletin out via email prior to the service.
Please email karen@mundy.com if you have questions or if you are not on our St. Matthew's email distribution list and would like to be notified when videos are made available.
Fr. Robert is also recording the services on his phone, separate from Facebook, in order to upload on to his YouTube page. An email will be sent out when that becomes available.

- Masks (covering your nose and mouth) are required.
- Minimum 6 feet social distancing from people not living in your same household.
- No gathering in groups when entering or exiting the building.
- Attendance will be taken at the door, so please maintain safe distance while waiting outside of the church until you can be let in.
- Windows and doors will be open, so be sure to wear warm clothes.
- The service will be an abbreviated service, only the Psalm and the Gospel will be read.
